Open Scholarship

As the Association of Research Libraries notes, “Open scholarship, which encompasses open access, open data, open educational resources, and all other forms of openness in the scholarly and research environment, is changing how knowledge is created and shared. For research libraries, open scholarship offers opportunities for campus collaboration and new service roles.”

UBC Library is committed to supporting open scholarship in all of its forms. We are working in collaboration with other campus units to ensure that all UBC-affiliated researchers have the skills and resources necessary to engage in open scholarship and expand the impact of their academic output.
