Dr. Arthur “Gill” Green, Affiliate Assistant Professor in the UBC Geography Department, is a pioneering advocate and developer of open educational resources. These include two open textbooks on human geography, and FieldPress, a WordPress-based plug-in enabling creation of open field trips and class assignments.
The Library worked with Dr. Green on developing the TLEF project, and supported two of his students in updating textbook materials. The Library also provided Creative Commons (CC) and copyright advice.
